First, please download this plugin, and unzip it. You will find 2 files are mycategoryorder.php and taxonomy.php.
Mycategoryorder.php upload files to / wp-content/plugins folder and file taxonomy.php / wp-includes the webhost.
Make this plugin active part in the Dasboard of WordPress Plugins, so you have completed the upload and install.
To use this plugin, go to Manage> My Category Order. Here, you just drag the column sort order you want and save those changes back.
Go to Presentation> Widgets, drag the widget into the widget My Category Order instead of the default WordPress category widget and save changes. Now that you have finished your work.
Note: If you are using a theme without widget sidebar, then go to file in the theme you are using, instead of calling the command's default WordPress category using the following command:
wp_list_categories ('orderby = order & optioncount = 1 & hierarchical = 0 & title_li = <h2> Categories </ h2>');
