Most blogs are now missing a favicon.ico file and almost all use the default. There is a way to make your blog stand out on the create a bookmark that is its own icon. File creation process is simple. You create a GIF or PNG file with 16 × 16 pixel therein relating to your site and then save it into a file called favico.ico. Upload this file to the root directory and add the following line of code between the two tag

Please replace the URL with the URL of your favicon.ico file and as such is done. Now, whenever you visit my blog you will find a small icon on the address bar, and icons are also displayed on the bookmark bar. If there are too many people read the bookmark icon will help my blog easily be identified from other blogs have no favicon.
